Once again here is a fairly simple appearance mod that you can do yourself.

1) Use a flat head screwdriver to loosen the plastic molding at the bottom of the hatch... there are 8 yellow pins that holds the molding in place*denoted by the Blue arrows*. Its just a matter of working with it to get all 8 of them disconnected from the piece. Now remove the molding and set aside

2) Now use the socket set to loosen the bolts that hold the stock spoiler in place. The location of the bolts are noted with the Silver arrows above. *Disconnect the electrical connection to the 3rd brake light as noted by the Orange arrow above*. Then remove the spoiler and lay aside be sure to keep bolts in safe location.

3) Now use the hexhead screwdriver to remove the 3rd brake light from stock spoiler there should only be 2 of them, and remove light by pulling wiring through the hole that brake light was mounted in.

4)Next you would take a coat hanger *or anything similar would be fine* and make a straight wire out of it to use as a fish. Use the electrical tape to secure the end of the brake light wiring to the tip of the coat hanger, be sure to put several layers over it to keep it from pulling out inside of the spoiler. Then begin to 'fish' the tip of the coat hanger with the electrical wire taped to it through the new spoiler. Its pretty much a hit and miss job kind of wiggle the coat hanger back and forth until you can find the small hole located between the bolt holes on the left side and pull it through there. Now you can un-tape the wiring from the coat hanger.

5)Line up 3rd brake light with the brake light opening in the new spoiler and put both hex screws back in, don't tighten it TOO much since it could crack the plastic covering.

6) Line up the new spoiler with the existing bolt pattern on hatch be sure that the spoiler is flush with the body. *My wing came w/ 4 large flathead screws with washers* Then you would place all 4 screws/washers in each location and tighten about half-way and make sure that the spoiler is STILL flush with body. Now tighten fully on all 4 screws.

7) Reconnect the electrical harness for the brake light from the same spot you disconnected it earlier and you should be all set.
